ABSTRACT

Giving vote is everyone’s fundamental right & also a responsibility towards nation. But very less percentage of population exercise this duty. according to records not more than 20% public cast their vote even if regular advertisement by government. This is a serious problem ands needs to be addressed and solved wisely.

Existing System

Current voting system is based on installations of temporary booths at different places to serve a particular population and is exercised by using EVM (Electronic voting Machine). The very common problem is Queuing and chances of occurring Fake voting practice. One voter can cast the vote of all members or of some other voters in electoral list illegally. This results in the loss of votes for other contestants.

To overcome both problems, we have designed a very unique and novel solution which will ensure maximum percentage of voting and that too with NO Proxy.

OUR PROPOSED SYSTEM

Our proposal is very simple, effective yet easily implementable. Instead of public coming to voting booths, we propose let voting authorities come to each and everyone’s house to collect vote. this will ensure maximum no of vote being casted.

To do this we will be making a handheld voting machine or device with built-in fingerprint module and wireless connectivity with a central server PC either via XBee WSN Network or by IOT.

Voters can directly registered their votes just by authenticating themselves using fingerprint which will can use aadhar database that already exists with government.
